MORE SEATS WANTED.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l think that it would be a splendid idea, when the Courthouse is moved from its present site, that the area should be formed into a public garden with a number of seats whereon tired and semi-invalid people oould rest awhile. At present the only seats I know of arc two in front of the Library and two by the railway line. Old people and sick people and women with babies cannot very well climb dowp to the paths along the river banks, where (here certainly arc a fewseats. The seat in the rose garden at Garden Place is a most uncomfortable and backless one, the only drawback to a very beautiful spot. One or two scats along Hamilton East where one could sit while waiting for a bus would also be acceptable.—l am, etc., . B.M.
