FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA.
DAMAGE IN QUEENSLAND. HEAVY LOSS OF STOCK. BRISBANE, March 20. Heavy and continuous rain has flooded the Barwnn and Weir Rivers, between Wallangarra and Talwood, causing extensive damage, and drowning many cattle. THE RAIN CEASES. THBEATENED FLOODS AVEBTED.
(Received March 30, 11.5 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 30. The rain has ceased, and the threatened floods in the Rivcrina have been averted.
