MR S. L. PATERSON APPOINTED AN AUCKLAND BARRISTER. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.) A AUCKLAND, Thursday. Mr Stanley Paterson, of the firm of Meredith, Paterson and Hubble, has been appointed to the Magisterial Bench. Mr Paterson was born at Napier and educated at Christchurch. He obtained his degree at Canterbury College in 1918, In which year he was admitted as a barrister and solicitor. He served with Jew Zealand Expeditionary ,'ui'-s8 from 1916 to 1918. Mr Paterson's district will be allocated later.
