DAYLIGHT SAVING
ITS EFFECT ON HEALTH. TRIBUTE FROM SIR TRUBY KING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. With the advent of daylight saving Sir Truby King issues a message, in which he says it will prove_ one of the most popular and beneficial measures up to the present adopted for the social advancement of the community. Health is the foundation of wealth and happiness. He looks upon daylight saving as an important contributing factor towards the efficiency and prosperity of the people, and ventures to say that not only will general health be improved, but as a result the period of life will be extended. “We are all indebted to Mr. Sidey, and as president of the organisation, I Wish to express ou-r gratitude to Mr. Sidey,” he said. NEW HOURS FOR SCHOOL. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) CARTERTON, Saturday. Regarding daylight saving the Clarcville school committee decided to open the school next week from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.
