MATCH IN AUSTRALIA. TROWERN BEATS PEARCE. NEWCASTLE, Nov. 4. In a boxing match this evening at the .Stadium Reg. Trowern, New Zealand, 9st 1311), defeated Jimmy Pearce, iOst 41b. Half-way through the 16th round Pearce was disqualified for using the "rabbit killer” punch. He was warned several times, an ! when he again offended the referee took action. Tiic contest was fast and clever. Trowern was ahead on points when his opponent was disqualified. SYDNEY. Nov. 4. At the Leichhardt Stadium Kiely (list 241 b), out-pointed Lecky McDonald (list 41b), in 15 rounds Kiely out-boxed his opponent almost throughout the fight, his long-range punches not suiting the New Zealander’s style. The latter made great efforts to make up. the leeway in the concluding rounds, but Kiely had 100 big a margin and won comfortably. At the Stadium Tiger Payne knocked out Charlie Chctwind in the tenth round. Payne had the advantage from the start and with a whirlwind attack defeated his opponent.
