DAYLIGHT SAVING BILL.

POWER BOARD'S VIEW. Speaking in regard to the Daylight Saving Bill at Tuesday's meeting of the Thames Valley Power Board, the chairman, Mr P. W. Strange, stated that the engineer was obtaining figures in regard to the' position. It was understood that the dairy companies did not intend to alter their times. On the motion of Mr Price it was agreed to ask the Minister of Public Works to allow the board one month's grace to affect a change in the hours, in the face of the intention of dairy companies not to make the alteration. It would adversely affect the hoard's •supply.
