A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
THAMES VALLEY. MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. An executive meeting of the Thames Valley A. and P. Association was held at Te Aroha on Saturday. A letter was received from a tradesman, asking that the price for ground rent for the show be reduced, as it cost his firm £8 last year.
The. president (Mr J. D. Mackay) and clerk were asked to report on the matter.
It was decided to pay £2O towards the building fund account. The president reported that aider paying £2O to the secretary a credit of £l2 remained, so they were keeping on the right side. It was agreed, on the motion of Mr Ward, that the president interview outside breeders and secure entries for the 1927 show. Mr Ward slated that the Morrinsville association had greatly improved their entries by canvassing at the Hamilton show.
A letter was received from Mr J. A. Clothier agreeing to control the gates, and Mr Taylor was prepared to act as train steward.
