DIOCESAN GIRLS’ SCHOOL.

PROPOSAL FOR HAMILTON. OPTION OVER SITE. One of the most important matters under discussion at the meeting of the Diocesan Standing Committee, held yesterday, was the starting of a diocesan girls’ school in Hamilton. The matter has been placed in the hands of a strong committee, who have already secured an option over a suitable site. It is the intention of the committee to organise, with a view to making a commencement in the near future, so that the diocese may have a school for boarders and day pupils in- full swing in the new year.
