TAUHEI.

Sunday School Concert and Tea. On Wednesday the annual Sunday School concert and tea was held in the Tauhei Hall, and in spite of the rough weather the halt was packed. About 60 scholars sat down to a sumptuous tea, provided by the lady teachers. After tea the prizes won during the year were presented by Mr B. Noble, owing to the superintendent, Mr J. Nobic, being on the sick list.

In presenting the yearly report Mr Noble congratulated the teachers and scholars on the position the school had gained, having been placed third highest on the list for percentage of passes, and the average attendance had increased considerably. Robert i.amino and Ivo Harris won the special prizes donated by Mr Murphy, a previous teacher of the Tauhei Sunday school. Mr E. Roche read the report and balance-sheet. Mr Watson presided over the concert. The programme was:—“A Visit from Fairy LaDd,” Aubrey Middleton; song, "Dolly’s Bedtime,” little girls; recitation, R. Lambie; Dutch song, senior girls; recitation, Joan Haycock; recitation, senior hoys; song, senior giris; dialogue, giris; recitation, Norman Dawson; dialogue, “Bobbie's Courtship,” by a few friends.,
