FARMERS’ UNION.

P/lORRINSVILLE BRANCH. There was a large attendance at a meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the Farmers’ Union, at which Mr J. M. Allen presided. It was decided to arrange a visit to the Ruakura Farm early next month. The question of procuring the services of a veterinary surgeon for the district was discussed, and it was decided to ask Mr Carbury, of Te Aroha, lo advise as to the cost. A resolution was carried that a remit be sent to headquarters that legislation be sought for the purpose of providing that each county council shall place for public inspection at each post office & balance-sheet and statement of accounts for each riding under its care.
