HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd-, report: At our weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards yesternay we had a fair entry of principally cow and heifer beef. Prime young cows and heifers sold at late rates; plain cattle were easier. A medium yarding of fat and store sheep was offered. Fats were slightly lower than the previous week, while there was good competition for store iambs. There was a heavy yarding of fat and store pigs and all classes sold well up to last week's rates. Messrs Dalgety and Go., Ltd., report having held their weekly sale at I*rankton saloyards on Tuesday, as under. There was an average yarding of beef, including a few pens of light steers, the major portion being of moderate quality. The demand was moderate. Young prime cows and heifers sold at late rates. Prices for beef again declined, although the quality was generally good. A fair demand existed for store cattle. Fat sheep were easier than last week. Store sheep sold under steady competition at late rates.
