The Canterbury- tennis championships were concluded in glorious weather: Men’s Singles. _ Fourth Round. Brewster beat North, both Australians, G—2, G—2. Fourth Round.—Ollivier heat Glanvillc, 5—7. 6—o, 7—5. Men’s Doubles, Fourth Round.—North and McCausland heat Peach and Peach, all Australians, 6—3, 6—3. Semi-finals. —Fitzgerald and Brewster heat Sheppard and Angas, 6—3, C—4. Ladles’ Doubles. Fourth Round.—Miss Spcirs and Ferrier beat Misses MacFarlane and Cotlerill, C—l, 7—5. Ladies’ Singles. Semi-Finals.—Miss Wake heat Miss MacFarlane, 6—J, 6—2; Miss Spcirs heat Miss Partridge, G—o, G—2.
