ST. GEORGE'S CONCERT. The concert arranged by Misa Gladys Denz in aid of'ihe funds of St. George's will take place this evening in Ihe hall, Somerset Street. The performance will consist of dances and sparkling sketches, and a large attendance is expected. MARY PICKFORD TO-NIGHT. To-night's picture attraction at the Theatre Royal is one that will attract the attention of all picture-goers. After, an absence of nearly twelve months, the World's Sweetheart, Mary Pickford, will be seen in her latest production, "Sparrows." The picture has played to packed houses whenever shown. Everyone- wants to see Mary as the lovable character of her earlier pictures. "Sparrows" has given the world what it wants, a production full of everything that goes to make ideal entertainment. Seats should be booked at the Royal Sweet Shop or by Theatre 'Phone 1580. NEW STRAND AND FRANKTON. "All Around Frying Pan," an adaptation of. Frank Richardson Pierce's' magazine story "Forty and which will be screened at the above theatre to-night, it Fred Thomson's latest contribution to western classics; and the entertainment of the public. Featuring the famous Alturas Roundup as a part of a picture that needed no such bolstering lo make its storystand up, "All Around Frying Pan" proVcs the best of the new Thomson: scries—and that is saying a lot whea such fine shows as "The Bandit's Baby," and "The Wild Bull's Lair" are considered. The star is back in bis cowboy roles with a vengeance, but Silver King, his horse, is not ,cast in quite the heroic mould of former pictures. He starts.out as a bad bucker at the Round-up and Fred is the only saddle pilot who can ride him. The supporting film "Blue Blazes," is one of the famous Blue Streak western productions. The dance extravanganza, "Ragged Robin," to be presented by the pupils of Mrs Aileeu Parkhouse at the Theatre Royal on Monday, is causing unusual interest. The story of 1 tagged Robin is bright and interesting. Many beautiful dances and pretty songs are interwoven with the story, also three separate scenas, an Old world scene, a Hawaiian moonlight, scene, and an Ice. Carnival. Some wonderful costumes wilt be a special feature. The music has been selected from the well known masters and will be rendered by a specially engaged professional orchestra of 1U instruments.
