Dame Nellie Melba, the famous prima donna, who arrived in Paris from London yesterday, was taken ill in her rooms at the liilz Hotel. She was compelled to cancel her engagement at the Opera House, Brussels. Dame .Melba hopes that after a fortnight's rest she will be able to return to London and prepare for her tour of Australia and the Far East. She expects to sail from England in December*
