TWO BEAUTY HINTS.

FOR THE HOME GIRL. If you spend much of your time indoors and your complexion is not as cleat’ and fresh as you would wish try what apple water, taken two or three times a day, will do for it. Take two cooking apples and bake them thoroughly; then mash. Put the pulp into a jug, and pour over iL a pint and a half of boiling water, then heal, up well. Allow to cool, then slrain through a line sieve and sweeten to taste. Take one half-pint three times a day. The apple water must be made fresh every day, but if taken daily for three or four weeks will have a most wonderful effect in clearing the complexion. Don't, if you wish to preserve the beauty of your bands, use soda for washing up the crockery; add a little borax in place of soda.
