UNEMPLOYMENT.
MEETING IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A meeting of unemployed yeslerday was attended by 220 men and women. A committee was appointed to look after the interests of the unemployed. * A resolution was earned unanimously recording a protest against Hie action of the Government in bringing large shipments of workers to New Zealand while tiie grave unemployed problem remains unsolved. “We believe this lo lie a direct attack oil the wages and conditions of all workers, and call upon the Government to take steps lo provide work or maintenance for all unemployed.”
