IS LICENSING MEMBER ELIGIBLE? (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Tuesday. A ease of interest to Licensing Benches is being heard in the Supremo Court to-day. Application is being made to remove A. G. Bignell, who has been a member of tiic Bench for 23 years, on the grounds that at the time of bis election be was a shareholder in Foster’s liolel and therefore liable to show Idas. Legal argument is now being heard. It was pointed out that lie has since sold his shares, and 1 hat if dislodged from the seat would be eligible to stand again. His Honor reserved decision.
