GREATER MOVIE SEASON

ESSAY CONTEST. \ 'On March 1 Paramount's Greater Movie Season Essay Contest opened, and will close at midnight on March 20, The prize for the winner of this competition will be either a grand tour of Australia or New Zealand. This newspaper has been selected for this district to conduct Ihe contest in an effort to send one of its readers on either tour. All expenses will be paid lo the winner, and in case a woman wins the competition the expenses of a travelling companion wilt also he paid. Paramount's Greater Movie Season means a nation-wide celebration, and all representative theatres will be taking part. The subject of the essay is: "What the Moving Picture Means to Our Community." The manager of ihe local theatre or theatres celebrating Paramount Week, will assist competitors. The essay must not exceed 250 words.

Application form from the columns of this paper or from any motion picture theatre celebrating Paramount's Greater Movie Season must accompany essay. Essay must be in this newspaper's office before midnight March 20. This paper will judge the three best essays sent in, and they will then be sent on to Sydney for final choice.
