GREAT STRING DISPOSED OF. EXCELLENT PBICES REALISED. Owing to inability to obtain a suitable playing area, the Hamilton Polo Club has bren compelled to disband. After competing in the polo tournament last week at Feilding many members of the local club took the opportunity of selling their ponies. As was expected from the speedy and nippy play, great interest was taken bybuyers, the ponies being well sought after and .well distributed to players of various clubs. . Bidding was brisk and highly satisfactory prices were realised. Of fifteen ponies sold the average price was £SO. A grey pony by Titus madi £125, whilst others ranged from £S7, £76, £4O, down to the cheapest sold, £25.
