JOCKEY'S APPEAL FAILS. A special meeting of the Auckland District Committee was held yesterday lo hear an appeal lodged by Ben Rosen, jockey, against the decision of the Matamata Racing Club suspendin- his jockey's license, for two months from March 6, 1926. for causing interference during the running of the Waliaroa Handicap, and for divulging information contrary lo rules 4 and 5 of Part XXI. of the rules of racing. After hearing further evidence ihe appeal was dismissed. BAY OF PLENTY ACCEPTANCES.
