ASSAULT AT DUNEDIN.

HINDU BADLY HURT. MAN ARRESTED AND CHARGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. Iu a scuffle that took place in a Castle Street house last evening a Hindu, Sher Mahomed, was so badly hurt that ho was sent to the hospital unconscious, only coming to this afternoon. Charles James Fox, who lived in the house with Ihe victim, was arrested, and was remanded on a change of causing bodily harm. On further charges of resisting the police he was fined £4 10s. In a statement to the Court Fox said he and the Hindu had words, the latter going to the kitchen for a knife.
