MAGGIE MOORE, ACTRESS. (United Press Association.) Received March 17, 11.50 a.m. MELBOURNE, March 17. private advice announces the death „f Maggie Moore, actress, at San 1-ran-CI3CO.
No actress was belter known on the New Zealand and Australian stage than Maggie Moore. She. came to Australia nbout half a century ago Willi her husband, Ihe late .1. C. Will isoii, wilh •■Struck Oil." Since then she had appeared in all branches of stage work. Some, years ago she married Mr Harry Robert's, Ihe New Zealand actor. Only a Tew months ago she was tendered a huge complimentary farewell at Melbourne, and left for San Francisco to live wilh a sister. The death of one who had brought, pleasure, to theatre-goers for many years \vjll be widely rcgrctled. COLONEL SIR. P. WATTS. LONDON, March lfi. The death lias occurred of Colonel Sir Philip Walts', naval architect, in his 80th year. MR. HARRY J. MOORS. SUVA, March 10. The death has taken place at Apia or Mr. Harry .!. Moors. Deceased was 72 years of age.
