ROSE’S WORLD TOUR. NATIONAL FINANCIAL EFFORT. (By Telegraph—Presa Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A meeting of athletic authorities today decided to organise a national effort to llnance Rose's tour to Britain. Mr A. E. Gordon was appointed paid organiser. A street collection will be made here on Friday. Other centres are to be asked to hold a “Randolph Rose Day" on March 26. EVENING MEETING. The programme for the evening meeting of the Hamilton Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, to be held on Monday next-, at 5.30 p.m. is as follows : /t 40yds Junior Handicap; 250yds. Club Handicap; smile Club Handicap: 4 mile Club Cycle Handicap and High Jump Handicap. Entries will close in Friday at 8 p.m. with the Ron. Secretary", Mr. L. W. WBrown.
