EARL DE CLIFFORD.

The newspaper Weekly Despatch reports that the 1 9-year-old Earl do Clifford was secretly married at a West End registry office lo Dolly Merrick, the daughter of a London night club queen. Dolly was ihe manageress of the Manhattan Chib in Piccadilly.
Earl dc Clifford (Edward Southwell Russell) is the 26th Baron of the line, which was created in 1299.
