NEW STRAND AND FRANKTON. Two fine pictures will be screened A at the above theatres to-night. Milton Sills will be seen in one of his best productions to date, "The Knockout." It's a picture that will appeal to everyone, being full of romance and action, with a delightful touch of comedy. The second feature, "Marry Me," is a comedy of mistaken identity and eggs. The eggs serve as a background for a delightful romance. The mistaken identity provides all the mirth in the James Cruze Paramount picture. "Wanderer of the Zane Grey's greatest story and the most popular of ail the books he has given lo (lie American public attracted a big audience to the Theatre Royal on Saturday night. This picture is the first full-length Paramount picture to be produced completely in colour. This is an announcement of significance to every movie patron because it means that coloured photography at last has been perfected for practical purposes. In this picture the Tcchnicolour process was used—the same perfected process that was used in the Biblical sequences of Cecil B. De Mille's monumental screen achievement, "The Ten Commandemnts." "Wanderer of the Wasteland" is an outdoor picture but with an entirely now background, never before shown on the screen. Book at Jackson's, tobacconist. Theatre entrance, or br 'phone 1580. SKATING. Special concessions have been made for to-night for ladies at the skating rink. This idea has been adopted by the proprietor throughout New Zealand on the first Monday that the rinks are open. Only gentlemen assisting ladies will be allowed in the learners' room.
