NEW TRIAL WANTED.

THE APPLICATION REFUSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Saturday. A new trial of the case of Dyett v. Manson was sought, on the grounds of alleged misconduct by a certain witness, which affected the trial.

The case'was a claim by Mrs ICleena Agnes Christie Dyett against Walter Manson for £5650 for alleged assault. Judgment was given for defendant, and plaintiff now sought a new trial, which the Chief Justice refused.
