JAPAPNESE ASSAULTED.
MAORIS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.} GISBORNE, Saturday. Charged with assaulting a Japanese and robbing him of £42 in money and £2B worth of clothing, two natives, Parckura Haenga and Kereama Tuhaka, were committed for trial at Port Awanui.
