For a country district Paterangi is fortunate in the matter of entertainments. The moving pictures are now a fortnightly occurrence. School Again. "The school holidays have passed quicker than ever this year." is the cry of most of ttie kiddies, who have returned to their homes preparatory to the re-opening of the school on Monday next. There is a general feeling of "thankfulness that the. school is aide, to open to time, as last' year's experience is still fresh in our minds; hut these holidays have been singularly free from sickness —locally, at ail events.
