NORTH ISLAND COMPETITIONS. The time-for the receiving of entries for the Nofth Island Bowling Tournament has been extended untd 5 pm. on Tuesday. Although the tourney is being held at Hamilton chiefly for the benefit of South Auckland Clubs, a large number have not yet taken the opportunity of enlerms a rink Entries from clubs outside the Centre have been good, and a number of leading players will be taking part. \ progressive Pairs Game, The Hamilton Bowling Club held a J progressive pitirs tournament yester- .■■; day under ideal weather conditions. The green was in perfect order. A very enoyable day wjas spent by all , and some splendid bowling witnessed. The winning skip was Mr R. H- Coltman, and the winning lead Mr A. N. Dingle, each with six wins and no losses.
