SOUTHERN BURGLARY

GANG SYSTEMATICALLY AT WORK,

Five burglaries, two of which wero followed by fires, occurred in the city last night, all the premises being temporarily unoccupied at the time, and in two cases the owners were absent from Christchurch. The police are' of opinion that a gang has been systematically at work.
