COMPREHENSIVE EXHIBIT.

J. POMEROY AND CO., LTD. This year, as in the past, the display of Messrs J. Pomeroy and Co., Ltd., at the Summer Show is a comprehensive one. The firm are controlling some excellent motor agencies, which include British and American products. The British motor which is finding favour throughout the Dominion is the Austin, known as the “Empire’s Car.” Throughout the British Empire the people take Austin quality for granted, because. the Austin of to-day stands as a result of continuous effort for over 20 years by the largest motor manufacturers in Great Britain to produce the highest-grade product of its kind.

First to attract attention is the new Willys-Knight six and four-cylinder cars. These models are not just new, but an entirely newly-constructed automobile. Here is a big luxurious car with the only type of engine which improves with use (the sleeve valve engine). Every moving part of the Willys-Knight motor slides or rotates on a filmy cushion of oil. In this class the firm are showing a four-cylinder model fitted with one of its wellknown bodies. This smart roadster fully demonstrates the excellent product turned out by Messrs Pomeroy and Co. The. Overland car which has earned for itself a reputation for sturdy construction, reliability and low running costs, is also displayed. The latest six-cylindcr Sedan is a car which all would be proud to own. This new machine is- in every sense a car of quality, newly designed to meet a definite need, and it offers to the public a motor-car which is graceful, powerful, dependable and economical, and at a price to make it possible for every would-be motorist to own a car.

The light four Overland is known as “the most automobile in the world for the money.” There is a model for every need, and they are ail built of the same good quality to serve the one main purpose, of satisfying the owner. A roadster model is on view, and, as in the case of the Willys-Knight Four, is fitted with a Pomeroy body. This useful machine is roomy with a smart appearance, and should be suited to both professional and commercial needs. Prospective purchasers are invited to visit the firm’s extensive garage, in Alexandra Street, where arrangements can be made for demonstrations at all limes.
