PERSONAL.

The Minnister of Internal Affairs (Hon. R. F. Bollard) returned to Wellington last.evening.

Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., who has been on a visit to Christchurch, has returned to Hamilton, lie is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr Peter B. Kyne, the American novelist, will visit New Zealand for this season’s swordfishing, and to see relatives in Hawke’s Bay and the Manawatu.

Among the visitors to Hamilton this morning were Mr G. Baildon (Mayor of Auckland). Mr J. Park (Mayor of Ohehunga), and Mr J. Rowe (ex-Mayor of Onehunga).

Sir Francis Bell, who will leave New Zealand about March next, will in all probability attend Hie meeting of the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations as well as the Assembly of the League. Mr John Turner,’ founder of the Shop Assistants’ Union, and a member of Hie General Council of the Trades Union Congress, will sail from London shortly, on a world tour, embracing India, Malaya, China, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It will enable him, be says, to study industrial conditions in each country.
