Many men drink Doctors’ Special Reliable Old Scotch Whisky without being aware of the reason for its superiority. Nearly 100 years ago Dr. Robert McNish, a well-known Scottish medico, wrote that “certain whiskies, blended together during certain months of the year, and allowed to rest for five or six years before being consumed, have a most beneficial effect both on the body and the brain.” In 1808 that blend of whisky was put on the market by the McNish family, under the name of “Doctors’ Special.’ "Doctors’ Special" is sold by all hotels and bottle stores.* 0
