Although the Government seriously views the Legislative Council's rejection of the Railway Bill, it is unlikely again to threaten lo abolish the Upper House this session. Further action will not be taken until next ypar. The Legislative Council read a third lime the Forty-four Hours Week Bill. THEODORE DISPLACED. NOW IN A MINORITY. NO OTHER DEVELOPMENT. Received November 19. 1.1.30 a.m. SYDNEY. Nov. 19. The Federal election count is progressing slowly, the only alteration being that Mr. Theodore is now' in a minority for Herbert. The Cabinet will hold its first meeting on Tuesday next.
