STAR OF WAIKATO.
The installation of officers of Star of Waikato Lodge, No. 81, was this year conducted by the Dominion Grand Master (Bro. R. Cooper) before a large gathering of brethren. The following were elecied to office: — N.G., Bro. B. Gibson; Y.G., Bro. J. W. Clotworthy; recording secretary, Bro. W. L. Pyc: financial secretary, Bro. A. G. M. Smith; treasurer, Bro. 11. Jacka; warden, Bro. L. Libeau; conductor, Bro. 11. Powell; chaplain, Bro. A. Horton. After' the installation ceremony Bro. B. Cooper gave an interesting address on the. principles of Odd fellowship, and exhorted the brethren to always endeavour lo live up to the teachings of the Order. At the close of the proceedings a pleasant social hour was spent, Mr Cyril Leake's orchestra and oilier members contributing lo a wellarranged programme.
