HOCKEY TOURISTS.

AUSTRALIANS DUE TO-DAY.

(By Telegraph.—Special to Times.)

WELLINGTON, Monday. The Australian hockey team which is to play a series of matches in the Dominion will arriv.c from Sydney tomorrow, by the Moeraki.

The manager of the party is Mr W. G. Rothwell, who, was also manasr of the team which came to New Zealand in 1922. That combination met with but little success during its tour, but it is not expected that the local teams will have so easy a task on the present trip, for the visitors are reported to be very strong in all departments, their forward line being very brilliant. All the visiting players come with great reputations from their respective clubs, so that stirring games should be witnessed wherever they play.
