RETURNED SOLDIERS.
WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. A special meeting of the executive of the Waikato Returned Soldiers’ Association was held last evening. The secretary reported that a final statement in connection with Poppy Day would be presented at a future meeting . Appreciative reference was also made regarding the satisfactory arrangements made for Anzac Day. The sub-committee appointed to deal with matters regarding the annual re-union and general meeting to be held in the Winter Show Concert Hall, on Tuesday ncxl, reported that arrangements were almost complete. Tl?e chairman stated that an orchestra had been obtained for the re-union, and a programme would be presented by leading artists who had generously offered their services. He also stated that advice had been received from the Waikato Winter Show Association that the concert hall would be completed in time for the function.
