OUTCOME OF JEALOUSY. United Press Association. SYDNEY, September 19. The woman, Mrs Alma Fennell, aged "2i, who was shot in the thigh, but not seriously injured, by a man named Roblin, an ex-captain in the Indian Army, who then committed suicide, is separated from her husband. She .stated that Roblin used to visit her and her sisters as a friend. She added that statements' made by him in a letter he left, to the effect that they were lovers, and that she had jilted him for someone else because he was poor, were without: foundation. Roblin came to Australia some years ago, since when he had apparently had no fixed occupation. The tragedy is alleged to have been the outcome of jealousy, coupled with financial worries.
