FIRE AT HUNTLY.

MINERS' HALL DESTROYED. EARLY MORNING OUTBREAK. (Special to Times.) HUNTLY, Saturday. A disastrous Are occurred at Huntly at the early hour of two o'clock this morning, when the Miners'. Hall in Onslow Street, the largest hall in the town, and regarded as one of the best picture theatres in the'Waikalo, was burnt to the ground. The hall was locked up after the pictures last evening at about 11 o'clock, when everything appeared to be in order. Shortly before 2 a.m. flames were observed shooting out of the office and before anything could be done had secured a good hold on the, building. There being no water supply spectators were powerless and could do nothing but watch the flames consume the building. The hail was insured for £2OOO.
