TWO YEARS' REFORMATORY.
The prisoner, Lechmore Mein, who yesterday morning, at Hamilton, was committed for sentence for stealing a brooch, the property of a widow named Lucy Violet Quinn, was sentenced yesterday afternoon .to two years' reformative treatment. Mr .1. F, Strang pointed out to His Honour, Mr Justice Herdman, the delicate stat e of prisoner's health and His Honour suggested that representations should.be made to the Prisons Board, who might see their way clear to place Mein in a saniloriurn.
