Coates (Minister of I,ail ways and Public Works), who has been investigating railway and public works matters in the Manawatu and Wairarapa districts, and lias a.lso been Yisiting Taumarunui and Taihape, returned to Wellington on Saturday. The Minister will leave again shortly for the Taranaki district.
