The world's wireless record is claimed for an achievement by Mr Charles McClurgan, of Strathlleld, who communicated with Mr Bell, of Waihemo, Shag Valley (New Zealand) using only .0037 watts, which is merely a small fraction of the power required for lighting the tail lamp of a motor car.
