The Yorkshire Post reports thai Lord Rotßermere is acquiring the whole of the Hulton Syndicate's newspapers, including the Evening Standard, Daily Sketch, Manchester Daily Dispatch, and the Evening Chronicle; also three Sunday newspapers and other publications totalling 40. The reason for disposal Is that Mr Hulton is in poor health. The price paid is about £4,000,000.
