HULTON'S NEWSPAPERS.
♦- ACQUIRED BY LORD ROTHERMERE £4,000,000 INVOLVED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. •Received October 5, 9.45 a.m. LONDON, October 4. The Yorkshire Post reports thai Lord Rotßermere is acquiring the whole of the Hulton Syndicate's newspapers, including the Evening Standard, Daily Sketch, Manchester Daily Dispatch, and the Evening Chronicle; also three Sunday newspapers and other publications totalling 40. The reason for disposal Is that Mr Hulton is in poor health. The price paid is about £4,000,000.
