Mr Carter, on the eve of his departure, for Egypt to resume explorations, said he was positive he would find Tutankhamen's body absolutely untouched. There was not the slightest Intention to disturb the body, only to examine -the manner in which it was laid in the- tomb, and the resultant -discoveries would probably solve much that is at present unknown. After investigations haje been completed, the tomb will be resealed. The finding of the body Will not complete the task. Tlireequarters of . the work has yet to be completed, and great treasuresjare still to be found. Lady Carnarvon is continuing her husband's work, and when the tomb hat been thoroughly explored other investigations Will be made. ;
