ELECTION RESULTS. ANTI-AMERICAN WIN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. MANILA, October 3. The election returns, which are practically complete, indicate that Fernandez lias been elected with a comfortable majority, thus supporting the stand taken by the anti-American Party. One of the leaders, commenting on the result, declared ttiat the forces of freedom had emerged victorious. It Is expecled the Democrats will abide by Die verdict of the people and join a national undertaking to overthrow the autocratic Governor-General and to achieve the earliest possible independence of tho country. The elections passed off quietly, the only untoward incident being reported from the Bahin Province, where a democratic leader was shot and wounded-
