POLL IN QUEENSLAND. CLOSE CONTEST EXPECTED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. BRISBANE, October 4. A close polF on Prohibition is expected on Saturday. As this is the last occasion on which the issue will be submitted to the people, both sides have conducted the most vigorous campaign on record. In the of prohibition or State control being carried, the change will not take effect till July, 1025.
