GREAT FOOTBALL RECORD.

What in probably unique in the history of football is shown by the record that Harold Hayward, of Thames, holds. In recognition of his brilliant career, also as a mark of high esteem in which he is held here, a presentation will be made to him on Saturday at the Parawai football ground of a solid silver tea and coffee service. His record shows that he represented Rugby in the Thames from 1902 to 1911, also 1920 to 1922; was an Auckland rep. from 1902 to 1911, an All Black in 1908. In the League game he was an Auckland rep. from 1912 to 1915, and a New Zealand rep. for 1912 and 1913, being captain of Mie New Zealand League team in 1913.
