MATAMATA CLUB. On Saturday last a team from Walton Golf Club played a match against the local club at Burwood links. The result was a win for the local club in all the games. Next Saturday the Morrinsville Club Is sending a team to try conclusions' with the Matamata Club. In the final for the junior championship McDonald beat Montague, 2 up and 1. , 'The links will be closed for the season after Saturday, but some of the members intend looking after the greens themselves for a few weeks in order to continue play.
