N.Z.D.A. ANNUAL MEETING.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—Next Wednesday the annual meeting of the N.Z.C.D.C. is l to he held in the Theatre Royal. To avoid another such rabble as occurred last year, I suggest that any supplier who intends to have a word to say should get as close to the front as 1 possible, and that every speaker be asked to take the platform and have his say, where he can be heard by directors and suppliers alike. This might do away with two or three men jumping up in various parts' of the hall and talking at random. Perhaps this meeting will bo quieter than last, as prospects seem better (on paper). There is likely to be more pig talk than butter. And about those guarantors, let every man who sold his farm a year or two ago and thought he was going to live in clover the rest of his life, come along to the meeting and ask the suppliers to return him the money he lost, or never got, and bring along any other farmer who bought land at peak prices and lost his all. We all thought to make money the same as 1 these guarantors. All come along, and the few who are hanging on by the skin of their teeth will fix you up.—I am, etc., SUCKER.
