SENSATION AT WANGANUI

PLAYERS DECLINE TO TOUU,

By Telegraph.—-Press Association WANGANUI, Thursday.

A sensation was caused in Rugby Union circles to-day by tho refusal to go North with the Wanganui representative team of several players; including Peina ahd Potaka, the All Blacks. The players in question are under the Rangitikei sub-union. The trouble arose through the players wishing lo take part in a cup filial between the Bulls and Rata senior tcauis in the Rangitikei sub-union district.

Tho sub-union and the players involved have been suspended, and the N.Z. Union advised.

As a consequence the Wanganui team to play at Rotorua, Te Aroha, and Auckland is a much weakened one.
